Partnership With IUSPM
Management International has launched a partnership with IUSPM, The Institute for Petroleum Sciences and Management. This partnership has two overarching objectives:
- Improve the access of Cameroonian students to low cost quality Entrepreneurship, Business and Management Courses.
- Make tangible contribution to capacity building of learners in Entrepreneurship, Business and Management Courses.
To achieve these goals MIU has been delivering its HNC level 4 award course: Entrepreneurship in Africa. This course has been tailored to provide local examples of entrepreneurship and give students the right preparation to enter the job market or create their own ventures. The course is being taught by Mr Nestor Foukoua. Mr Foukoua holds a Master of Business Administration and six continuous years of experience teaching people in varied subjects related to entrepreneurship, management and business.
Through team exercises, presentation, written examination and interactive online quizzes, the courses are designed to provide students with two key components. First, components of how business, entrepreneurship and management materialise in practice, applying theory, and second, soft skill requirement that employers look for, giving students a competitive edge when entering the labour market.
