Join our Executive MA Degree Programme in Peacebuilding and Security Studies 

MIU UPEACE & UPEACE AFRICA PROGRAMME

Join our Executive MA Degree, a practical executive program designed to enhance the skills and perspectives of policymakers and practitioners. This program equips participants to effectively address complex peace, conflict, and security challenges in Africa and the developing world. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical case studies from diverse geopolitical contexts to deepen participants' intellectual and practical competencies.

   ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS


  • Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least a Second Lower Division (2/2). Those educated in a non-English medium must submit English-translated and certified degree certificates and transcripts.
  • English Language Requirement: Candidates without a prior degree taught in English must prove their English proficiency through IELTS [UKVI] or TOEFL exams. IELTS candidates should have a minimum of 6.0 in each module. TOEFL takers require a minimum of 70 points, with tests available in paper-based (PBT) or internet-based (IBT) formats.
  • Application Process: Candidates must complete an application form, submit a statement of purpose (350-500 words), provide an up-to-date CV, all academic credentials, and one letter of recommendation from a former educator or recent employer.

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE AND FEES


  • Hybrid learning option (online or in-person). 
  • Start date: September 2025.
    Course duration 18 months F/T and 24 months P/T .
  • Registration Fee: $1000,
  • Course Fee: $5000.
